Suggested Use

What you will need: 6 tbsp (3 oz) melted butter 1 egg (or egg substitute) Additional Arrowhead Mills Organic Pastry flour (for rolling dough) Let's make sugar cookies! and Create Fun Duck Shaped Cookies! Let's preheat the oven so the cookies bake properly and butter the pan so they won't get stuck! Preheat oven to 350°F. Have your child lightly butter an 11 x 15 cookie sheet using some melted butter & pastry brush. We mix the ingredients according to the directions so that we can make the cookie dough taste yummy. Let your child beat the eggs & melted butter in a large bowl. Add the Cookie Mix. Mix with an electric mixer on low until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough slightly to form a small ball. Use immediately or chill for up to 24 hours. Isn't it exciting to roll out the dough and cut it with our new cookie cutter? Roll dough out on a well-floured surface forming 1/8"-1/4" thick circle. Have your child use enclosed cookie cutter to cut cookies, place one inch apart on prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 7-9 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely before decorating and serving. These fresh baked cookies taste delicious! I love spending time making fun desserts with you. Help your child frost and decorate the cookies with his or her choice of icing, sprinkles or other topping. The cookie mix should yield approximately 3 1/2 dozen cookies so you'll have plenty to share!
