Suggested Use

Pancakes You will need: 1/2 cup Arrowhead Mills Kamut Pancake & Waffle Mix 1 tbsp honey 1 tbsp Hain Canola Oil 1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp milk, WestSoy Soymilk or WestSoy Rice Milk or water Stir all ingredients only until lumps disappear. Cook on preheated (375°F-400°F) lightly oiled griddle or pan, turning when bubbles form on surface and edges begin to dry. For thicker pancakes, use less liquid. For thinner pancakes, use more liquids. Suggested variations: Stir in one or more of the following into the batter just before cooking: 1/4 cup fresh berries, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/4 cup chopped nuts. (Makes 4-5" Pancakes) Waffles You will need: 1 cup Arrowhead Mills Kamut Pancake & Waffle Mix 1 egg, beaten or egg substitute 1 tbsp Hain Canola Oil 1 tbsp honey 3/4 cup plus 1 tbsp milk, WestSoy Soymilk or WestSoy Rice Milk or water Stir all ingredients together only until lumps disappear. Cook according to waffle make's instructions. (Makes 4 Waffles)
